1. Who we are
Rays Booking is an online booking platform that lets businesses (spas, clinics, salons, and other service providers) take appointments from their customers.
2. Information we collect
Business accounts: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and—if you sign in with Google—your Google account email and a unique identifier. We record sign-in time, IP address, and browser for security.
Customers of a business: when a customer books, we store the name, phone, optional email, and appointment details on behalf of that business.
3. How we use it
To operate the booking service, authenticate accounts, send confirmations and reminders, prevent abuse, and provide each business its own dashboard. We do not sell personal information.
4. Data isolation
Each business's data is isolated from every other business. A business can only access its own customers, staff, and appointments.
5. Email
We send transactional email only (verification, password reset, booking confirmations and reminders). We do not send marketing email without consent.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account data. To request deletion, contact the platform operator. Businesses are responsible for their own customers' data requests.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
